Let the Fun Begin!

Carouseltraybrightest
Yard sale season is here! And I've never been more ready for it. As much as I love antique malls, thrift stores, and eBay, there's nothing like getting out in the morning sun and bargaining, right?

Personally, I haven't had much luck with thrift stores in 2008, and I'm not quite sure why. My mother-in-law, meanwhile, has found several great pieces at the thrift stores in her area, from Pyrex to Cathrineholm, all in nice condition. She also found the cute oversized wooden dominoes in the picture. Aren't they sweet?

Anyway, this weekend our local orchard opens for the season and hosts a flea market as well. This always feels like the beginning of spring to me. I'll let you know what I find!

Happy Monday, everyone!

Hi, I love yard sales! What fun finding treasures that speak to you. (In your own weird little language!) Love the dominoes, too cute! We're having a give away- Marc Jacobs! Stop by our blog and say "Hi!" :-) Suzy

Hope you find some great treasures!
The best antique flea market in our area opens for the season on the first sunday in May.
I can't wait!!!

Kimberly :)

Well good luck with your hunting. We have been rained on every boot-saleing weekend so far, so its been miserable for trinketing. Hopefully this weekend the sun will shine and the boot sales will be bountiful!

Your photos are exquisite. Love all the color on your blog. Pure eye candy!

I love your blog. I love it! The bambi things are adorable!

I live for yard sales too!

C'est superbe !
Je vous ajoute dans mes liens pour mieux y revenir !!

Just popping in to say hi - I miss your colorful posts!
