Isn't she cute? Oh, I've been wanting an Enid Collins bag for a very long time, but the right one just never happened along. (Have you seen some of the prices on eBay?) Then my sweet hubby surprised me with this one over the weekend! I had never even seen an Enid bag in person. (Coincidentally, the day after I got this, I saw one in an antique mall. Funny how life works, right?) I have to tell you that this picture does not begin to do it justice. The handwork and the playful colors are so fantastic and fun. I feel like a lucky girl. I can't possibly deserve this much sweetness...

Oh - I was so happy to see new posts on your blog!! I absolutely love your photos and your blog - we seem to like all of the same types of things, so I am fascinated with it all! I started my own little blog fairly recently, mainly because I was so inspired by blogs like yours. I am not very good at it yet - I can't even seem to figure out how to add more than one picture per post! Oh, well- it's fun, isn't it?

Enid Collins bags are cool. I was so fortunate to find one at a yard sale for a quarter! I didn't have any money on me so I ran out to my car and searched for coins. I think I only found 22 cents, but she let me have the bag anyway! I did a happy dance all the way out to the car.
